Well we are entered into another video contest at Jim Beam and hoping everyone will take the time out and go vote for our video.
You will have to be over 21 and sign up to vote though.
In other news, Reincarnation 2 is nearly done and Chris is looking forward to a release within the next week or 2. So, keep an eye out for the EVILNESS that will be coming to you in March.
We decided to jump on the bandwagon and reach out to social sites. We've tried it before with B-group Myspace, but let's face it, MySpace.com seems to be a dying fad. However, like most sites now a days, it's easier to contact our views if they add us to their contact list.
This way we can update you on the latest going on around bgroupproductions.com.
Well, Tyson Chicken was holding a contest over at http://www.tysonperfectkickoff.com/ which seemed to be pretty legit. However, due to the awfulness of their poorly put together website, many contestants were unable to upload their videos to the site. I was one of them!
I spent about 3 days working on this little animation for the competition and never had a chance to enter. Blah.
Griswold the Goblin (2): Islands of Fire - Chapter 1 is finally done and we plan on releasing on (hopefully) Monday!
Thanks to Tom Fulp and Newgrounds for the sponsorship on this one!
We are going to try to make one more video before the November 16th deadline.
As far as projects that are currently underway:
Chris is working on several games which include Reincarnation 2, Griswold the Goblin 2, and a new game title which will be a point and click/quest game as well.
Brian is currently working on a documentary. Can't really say to much about this project.
Oh... One last thing. The shirts are in. We will enclose a picture of it and if ya interested in buying one then they will be 15 dollars in person order or 20 for a mail order.
We decided to update everyone on what's happening right now. As you may know, BGP is all about entering in these viral video contest on the net through sites such as:
VidOpp Adooga
However, we always like reporting to other filmmakers about contest that we ourselves will be entering to juice up the competition.
Our latest goal is to win the Doritos Crash the Superbowl Contest which will run until November 16, 2008. If you are the grand prize winner, you take home 25 grand and your commercial aired during the Superbowl, yet if you are the top commercial that night, you will be taking home an extra 1 million dollars.
So get your videos in to the contest and let us know if you do through out info/contact link
Thanks to
